Junior A.C.E.

Achieving A College Education

What is Junior A.C.E.

The program is a new collaborative venture involving Scottsdale Community College (SCC) and Salt River Elementary School and Junior High Schools.

The Junior ACE project engages Salt River Elementary and Junior High students in a bridge program that benefits them with college related experiences. Students spend time on the SCC campus every summer and participate in retention activities throughout the school year. The experience incorporates academics, physical well being, and college readiness with an emphasis on O'Odham and Piipaash culture to prepare the students to excel in high School and move onto higher education.
