ADVOCACY: To ensure that students and parents are able to exercise due process and that their rights are protected under school policy and Tribal mandate.

COUNSELING: Counseling is available for students and if the assessment is beyond the scope of the counselor’s expertise; referrals will be made to the appropriate agency.
Individual Counseling—Initial assessment of the students needs
Academic Counseling—Review report cards, attendance, students progress and parent/teacher conferences. If you are a high school student (grades9-12) we will review your transcript, prepare a four year graduation plan and develop a plan for improvement if necessary
Career Counseling- Career inventory, Higher Ed opportunity / Scholarship information. SAT information and graduation criteria for HS students.
Family Truancy Counseling: Referrals are made to the counselors by the schools, Attendance Officer or the court if there are problems in the home that are preventing the students from attending school regularly; such as:
Chronic Illness
Loss of a Family Member
Divorce
PRESENTATIONS: Schedules and conducts presentations for students and parents on topics such as:
School Related Issues
Health and Development
Leadership
Careers
BOARDING SCHOOLS: Supports and assists parents and students with:
Boarding School Application Process
Acts as the Liaison Between the School and the Home
Makes Two School visits a Year to Ensure Students are:
Adjusting to Boarding School Life.
