Salt River Elementary School (SRES) provides a well-rounded curriculum to ensure that all students are receiving excellent educational opportunities. The curriculum consists of the Harcourt-Brace Reading program, Houghton Mifflin Math Curriculum, and an intergrated science program. An outstanding feature of our curriculum is the Culture/Language program where students are taught the language and culture of the O'Odham. Salt River Elementary also provides special classes such as PE, computer, library and music. Students with special needs are provided extended learning opporttunies through our Exceptional Student Services, and the Gifted program provides educational opportunities for students who excel in the areas of academics, creativity and leadership.

All electronic devices for example: CD players, iPods, cell phones and gaming devices do not belong at school. If these items are confiscated, they will be kept in the office until a parent picks them up.
