Salt River Schools COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

  • All SRS staff are fully vaccinated against C19. Students are encouraged, but not required, to be fully vaccinated. "Fully vaccinated" means you have received 2 doses of vaccine + a booster.
  • When one of our staff or students receives a test-confirmed case of C19, we notify all families at that specific school only if other students may have been exposed.
    • We will not send a notification if other students are not exposed (e.g. for students who test positive during a break from school, such as summer or winter break).
    • All-school notifications are sent via SchoolMessenger Broadcast and posted to this page (below), as well as the specific school's website.
    • If your student is determined to have been in close contact with the person who tested positive (e.g. is in the same classroom), we will send a direct quarantine message via email and make a direct phone call with the parents/guardians of the student who needs to quarantine.
    • If your student is fully vaccinated (2 doses + booster) and tests negative for C19, they do NOT need to quarantine. Click here to review our vaccine/quarantine scenarios.
  • Salt River Schools will quarantine exposed students only if they are not fully vaccinated (2 doses + booster).
  • Quarantine for positive cases and exposed classrooms is 5 days from the date the individual was last on campus.

If you have any questions, please contact your child's principal or call the SRPMIC Epidemiologist at 480-362-7247.
