Young readers will explore elements of the
world around us during the Salt River Tribal Library 2017 Summer Reading Program. This year’s
theme is “Build a Better World.”
The 2017 Summer Reading Program is open to people ranging from preschool-age through
adult. Participation is free and adult/family engagement is encouraged, especially during the
Read-to-Me portion of the program to help non-independent readers learn to love books.
The program will feature reading hour, group games, art projects and science and engineering
experiments, among many other fun activities. Prize incentives will be awarded throughout the
program.
Registration for the “Build a Better World” 2017 Summer Reading Program begins May 22.
Track your family’s reading from May 29 through July 28.
