Who can enter: This photo contest is open to Native American youth photographers ages 12 to 18 in the greater Phoenix, AZ area.
Individuals who are currently employed by Child Trends, and their immediate family and others living in their household, are not eligible to participate in the contest.
What to enter: This contest is looking for original photographs that depict or reflect Native American culture in schools. Subjects of particular interest include objects, activities, or places relating to school climate, youth development, and community engagement. Photographs in which any person's face is recognizable may not be eligible for the contest. Child Trends reserves the right to determine eligibility and award winners in its sole discretion.
When to enter: The contest opens on July 1, 2023, and closes on August 31, 2023. All entries must be received by 11:59pm Arizona time on August 31 to be eligible.
How to enter: Click here to submit your entry online through this photo contest submission form. You may submit one entry of up to six images. To submit an entry, you must agree to the contest rules and certify that you are the image's sole creator and owner. Along with your image, you are required to provide your name and email address to participate in the contest. By entering the contest, you consent to the use of your name and email address for communication related to the contest.
Data use: You retain your rights to your image. By entering the contest, you grant Child Trends and those authorized by Child Trends permission to use the image in future products and publications. When entering the contest, you may consent to being credited by name as the image photographer by Child Trends as feasible. You are not required to consent to a photo credit to participate in the contest.
Prizes: Child Trends will choose 10 winners and award one $100 gift card per winner in compensation. Gift cards will be delivered in person, and must be signed for by the recipient.
