Their in-person event is Wednesday, June 21, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the ECEC Gathering Place. A virtual event will be held at a later date. You'll have a blast reading, writing, singing, dancing, and making hands-on projects during the 1-hour! All books and lessons are culturally-based and inspired by Indigenous authors to enhance your child's reading growth. All materials are provided. Registration is required: Call/text 480-878-8604 or email [email protected].
  • Friday, June 23, is the last day of summer programming for SRES and the ALA. It is also the last day of our summer meals program at SRES (free meals for all youth 18 and younger will be available at the ALA July 3-21). The ECEC summer schedule continues through July 21.
  • Tuesday, June 27, is the Salt River Rising Summer Celebration from 6-8 p.m. at the ALA football field (park in lots along Highland Avenue or Chaparral Road)! This event is in honor of graduates from the Accelerated Learning Academy and SRPMIC grads of all levels. We’ll serve a BBQ dinner for the first 300 people, plus there will be a live band, face painting, and lots of water fun inflatables for all ages! Click here to learn more.

  • Salt River Higher Education participations (past and present) are invited to take a short survey. Your feedback is important and will help our program understand what works and what needs to change moving forward. Click here to take the survey. All answers are anonymous and will be evaluated for statistical and data-sharing purposes. Thank you for helping the Salt River Higher Education program improve, so that we may continue to serve SRPMIC students in the most effective and efficient ways possible. If you have any questions about the survey, please email [email protected] or call 480-362-2547.
  • The Salt River Higher Education program is offering special advising appointments for SRPMIC-enrolled high school seniors. Seniors can get help with completing FAFSA forms, college applications, scholarships, and areas of study. Make your appointment today! Advisors have availability Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We also have virtual appointments available, which are a great option for those students who live out of state. Questions? Contact Davina Leon at [email protected] or 480-362-2551.

The surveys are anonymous and results can be used to support our continuous improvement process.
